Pinpoint photos showing cycling-related problems and good practice on a map.
The planner gives the fastest, quietest and balanced route, catering for your cycling preferences.
Customised homepages for every town/city/borough around the UK are available - try yourtown.cyclestreets.net.
See at a glance how hilly your route will be - with hills taken into account in the journey planner.
Scroll down to the itinerary and you'll see each street, turn-by-turn, and a mini-map of the area.
Get a feeling for what a journey is like before you take it (if there are photos in the area).
User profiles let people browse your photos more easily, and see any other information you choose to make available.
Want to see all the cycle parking problems people have found? Or all obstructions? You can browse these.
If you have Google Earth on your computer, click on the Google Earth link to get a flyover of your route.
You can add photos of cycling-related problems that need fixing, or things you like.
Every journey gives you a GPX export for GPS devices, as well as a KML (Google Earth) file.
Import your (or others') photos from Flickr (where reproduction is permitted).
Data from OpenStreetMap: if you find an error in the street data - you are welcome to fix it yourself!
A large matrix of photo categories is available, listing by type and good/bad.
