Through motor traffic has been removed from Hume Street by a road closure by bollards next to the low bridge.
However the Chalmers Street side of Hume Street has been turned into a taxi storage area with conflicting signage and road markings. Is cycling allowed here or not? 'No Motor Vehicles' says it is, 'No Vehicles' and 'Taxis Only' says it isn't.
Meanwhile, the 'No Motor Vehicles' sign on Chalmers Street has no exceptions, even though it is the main bus pick-up point in Clydebank.
